Obiettivi:

The course aims at providing all Workers with the Specific Training related to health and safety in workplaces as stated in the European norms. It also aims at providing a major perception of the risk during work activities. The Italian current regulations establish the obligatory training for Workers, that is articulated in two parts: Workers’ General Training and Workers’ Specific Training.

The course illustrates the damage that excessive exposure to noise sources, in and out of the workplace, can cause to the auditory system and is designed to raise Workers’ awareness on the use of personal protective equipment. The course explains the concept of source risk protection and how to properly use personal protective equipment. In addition, course takers will be shown exposure limit values, action values and health surveillance obligations under Legislative Decree No. 81/2008.
